The Earthshot Prize is a new global prize for the environment, designed to incentivise change and help to repair our planet over the next ten years.
CRC Partner organisation Arup is a partner the Earthshot Prize providing support in their search for solutions worthy of their prize and provide some support to finalists in the development of their submission and solution.
Nominations are currently sought under the ‘Build a waste-free world’ theme. There are three priority sub-themes under the waste-free world category:
- Preventing the excessive use of resources
- Extending the use of goods (particularly food, clothes, plastics)
- Better managing waste once it has been generated.
Nominations that tag to these sub-themes will be preferentially weighted during the Earthshot evaluation process.
